Flow combines 30-plus years of expertise in the waterjet industry to bring you a full line of ultrahigh-pressure pumps, designed and manufactured by the world’s UHP technology leader.
Flow is the only waterjet company in the world to offer you the choice of intensifier or HyPlex direct drive pump technology. Flow HyPlex pumps are based on field-proven technology with more than 7,000 pumps installed worldwide, logging more than 65 million working hours.
Like our integrated intensifier line of pumps, HyPlex pumps are also based on a space saving, integrated design – saving valuable floor space when compared to more conventional, non-integrated designs. Flow’s HyPlex design ensures the highest possible pressure stability available in a pump.
Flow HyPlex pumps feature the latest technical advancements for optimal performance, reliability as well as easy, predictable maintenance.
These units are designed for safe, reliable, continuous operation in tough industrial cutting applications. Like all Flow pumps, they are manufactured in a facility which has the ability to follow the strict rules of manufacture and safety dictated in the ASME code Section VIII, Division 3, and are permitted to apply the stamp U3 to items which apply to the code.
Specifically, Flow is “authorized to apply the ‘NB’ mark and register boilers, pressure vessels, or other pressure retaining items with the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors in accordance with its provisions.”
Additionally, HyPlex pumps also utilize a pressure control valve (PCV) to ensure quick reaction when changing operating pressure, or opening and closing the flow of water through the cutting nozzle. The PCV is also much easier and more reliable to use than designs that utilize a bypass valve or dual orifice design to control water flow.
